Research Recruitment

Hello! I'm Hsiao-Ting, currently a doctoral student in Speech-Language Pathology at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (UNC-Chapel Hill). My dissertation research aims to understand the shared reading resources and experiences of families with minimally verbal or non-verbal children ages 3–7 in Taiwan.

Who Can Participate?

Parents or primary caregivers of minimally verbal or non-verbal children ages 3–7.

"Minimally verbal" means the child typically produces fewer than 100 spoken words independently.

  • Non-verbal children are also very welcome
  • Even if you are not currently reading with your child, you are very welcome to participate (every family's experience matters)

How?

An anonymous online survey, taking approximately 15–20 minutes to complete. You may stop at any time.

Incentive

All participants who complete the survey are entered into a drawing: 10 winners / each receives a 7-Eleven e-gift card worth NT$300.

If you know families who may qualify, we sincerely invite you to share this information.
Parents are also welcome to contact me directly. Thank you for your support!
